iSpy With My Little Eye, a Dalí Mustache

Salvador Dalí remains a man of mysticism & intrigue to most. As an attempt to shed light on the queries regarding Dalí’s life & work, the High Museum of Atlanta sheds a glimpse of light on the mind that motivated the art.  “Dalí: The Late Work” covers the famed Spanish artist’s work from the years 1940 – 1983. What sets the exhibition apart is a step away from Dalí’s signature surrealism and a step towards an expanded breadth of his work & the conclusion of his career.

“It’s become a really interesting area for investigation because you have Dalí’s career which spans almost all of the 20th century, but historically people have really only looked at the 1930s,” said exhibition curator Elliott King. “It was almost like he died in 1940.”
