In case you’re new to these parts, UGAstyle.com is your local hub for fashion, music, entertainment – basically everything good in the hood of Athens – blog. Since our start up in March 2008, we have surpassed well over 100,000 hits. Not too shabby, eh? Well, we are growing not only locally, but also nationally…

• Get to put something credible, fun and interesting on your resume
• Will be extremely respectable to say you were one of the first writers and will also be beneficial to be attached to the TheCampusStyle.com
• Get official business cards
• AND It only will take a few hours each week (which you can do all on your own time)

So if you think you’re cut out for the job… run through the checklist:

1. Personable (will need to be able to approach strangers and photograph them for street style, getting their name and hometown-but you do this with a camera and a business card, so you feel less “creepy”). Will also need to be able to go and speak to boutique, restaurant owners and other important “adults.”
2. Stylish. Well, your own style that is. It would probably be a good thing to know a thing or two about fashion. But we really only require a broad sense, because we like to appreciate everyone’s personal style.
3. Sense of humor: Because life is too damn short to take it seriously.
4. Good writer: Just hum to the tune of the Conjunction Junction: basically know the difference between your nouns, verbs, adjectives, articles, tenses, the stuff you learned in 3rd grade, just so we don’t sound like a bunch of hillbillies, ya reckon?

- Submit three blog entries to UGAstyle@gmail.com - (one must be street style, the other two you can write about one of our common categories or get creative and come up with something new). As for length, use your best discretion and refer to archives on site if you need to.

- Short paragraph on who you are and what you can bring to the table.

- Some credentials would be superb as well…so twerk that resume if you may!
