What choo talking ’bout Willis? The annual Athens Face/Off is back in action this Friday night in the hidden crevices on Washington St. The soiree entails the musical stylings of a melting pot of local Athens musicians.  Athens Face/Off will feature a series of duets selected to hit the stage & collaborate in front of a sea ears. These dynamic duos are selected at random to keep the spirit of the night oh so interesting (& to keep you on your toes, of course) – literally, names are pulled out of a hat like magic, we kid you not!

Dolla dolla billz y’all The toll is $6 for all you legal & legit folks/$8 for the sober sally minors out there.

Your presence is a present on Friday, December 11 @ the 40 Watt Club. When the clock strikes 9:30pm, you best be there! This is not a fashionably late kind of ordeal kiddies, as the music shall begin to sing sweet nothings at 10pm SHARP! Tickets are available @ 40 Watt (duh!) & in advance @ School Kids Records (264 East Clayton St).

***Here’s zee scoop: Each “duet” must be two songs or ten minutes in length/ Original material is encouraged but not required/ Compositions & improvised performances are acceptable, & furthermore, highly anticipated***

For your database of knowledge All of the proceeds from this Face/Off will go towards Athens Food 2 Kids, a program launched by the Junior League of Athens and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. Food 2 Kids provides free snacks & scrumptious goodies to Clarke, Oconee and Barrow County school children!!!!
