Giveaway: Well, Hello Halo!
In the famous words of Beyonce, if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it. And we don’t mean just any ole ring; we’re talking about the beautiful works created by Maggie Schwartz for Halo Finger Art. These one-of-a-kind rings are about as unique as it is difficult to get your hands on them.
Selling her hand-crafted rings strictly out of the Charleston area, Maggie’s designs are hard to snag–especially since they were disappearing like hot cakes at this year’s Charleston Fashion Week and the city’s weekly Farmer’s Market. Currently, the only way you can access these rings, which are made using a special process called wire wrapping, is through Halo Finger Art’s Facebook page or heading down to the jewelry maven’s station at Marion Square on Saturday morning.

Why all the fuss? Well, for starters Maggie uses top-notch materials only: fine silver, gold-filled wire, semi-precious stones and even seeds and nuts collected from the Amazon Jungle. And, the native Ecuadorian, who teaches Spanish and jewelry-making classes to preschoolers, dedicated 10 years to master her craft. That’s not all–after designing and creating nearly 1,000 rings, Maggie can safely say that no two pieces are alike. This means when you put a ring on it, the other single ladies out there won’t be rocking the same one. We love top-notch.
If we haven’t enticed you yet, then perhaps this next little piece of information will. We have teamed up with Halo Finger Art to bring our readers one step closer to owning one of these fabulous finger accessories. Usually priced at $135 a pop, Halo is offering TheCampusStyle readers quite a steal: three (yep, three!) $50 gift certificates will be awarded to go towards a ring at a special price of $85 compared to the original.
All you need to do is head over to Halo Finger Art’s Facebook page, click “Like” and fill out their quick contest form. No worries–it won’t even interfere with your usual daily stalking, plus you can check out the new summer collection, which might be gracing those dainty hands of yours. Please know your ring size in advance in order to ensure you the best fitting ring possible; if there isn’t a ring available in your size, don’t fret–Maggie will whip you up a custom-made piece. Beyonce ain’t got nothin’ on this offer.
GET SCHOOLED.
