Classic and timeless with a hint of modern chic would be my style” Elizabeth Blumer says reflecting on the growth of her fashion sense. Blumer has just been crowned MS. GEORGIA TECH at the Clemson HOMECOMING game a couple of weekends ago and still is radiating with joy. As someone clearly in the eye of the Georgia Tech public, Blumer KNOWS how to rock her style. “It airs on the side of timeless pieces but still has a little modern appeal to my overall look” Blumer shares. Her FIERCE yellow jacket was a TRENDY PEACOAT from J.CREW. With noteable STAPLE wardrobe pieces such as this, Blumer wore a YOANA BARASCHI piece to spice up the look as she was STRUTTING down the field of Bobby Dod Stadium. The dress was a CHIC MILITARY style that was perfectly fitted. “My scarf is a handmade, cashmere vintage piece” Blumer states as she recollects STEALING this family airloom from her grandmothers closet years ago. The cherry on top of a CLASSIC, MS GEORGIA TECH ensemble. Blumers FAVORITE accent to her outfit, was unseen to the naked eye as it was BURIED underneath her STYLISH black leather gloves-a gold BANGLE bracelet. Read more >
Being a college rapper is one of the most cliché things in the world right now, yet KAM Royal is still succeeding. This freshly twenty-one, DC native produces highly intelligent and eclectic music, that separates him from the rest of the pack. theCampusStyle caught up with Kam this past week to get a feel for how he got his start in music, some info on his upcoming mix tape (Quit Your Day Job comes out early 2012), and if he prefers Stüssy to Ralph Lauren. Check out Zoë Björnson’s exclusive interview and photo shoot with KAM Royal here.
Please allow me to introduce you to K. Cooper Ray, designer, blogger and etiquette extraordinaire. Born and raised in the South, Cooper takes manners and chivalry to a level that might make you rethink its so-called disappearance from society. In between designing his reversible bow tie collection for Brooks Brothers, Cooper schools cyberspace on all things grammatically correct (and preppy) via his site SocialPrimer.com.

Meet Stanley Vergilis, a mechanical engineering major by day and bomb-ass musician by night. He plays in two legit local Atlanta bands: Wife and The Balkans, dresses not to impress (but somehow inadvertently does), and has all the makings for a bright future beyond rockstardom. Let us introduce you to our friend Stan, a trifecta of music, brains, and looks. Yup, it’s so good and it is actually true:

Minimalism at its best, Maeghan, 20 from Kennesaw State University, looks perfectly tailored and put together in this middle-season ensemble. Georgia weather has been throwing everyone for a loop, but she gladly embraced the opportunity to showcase some pre-spring pieces, proving that less is more in this crisp, classic look. We love the camel colors, dark wash jeans, and crisp oxford.

Ladies, please take note: inserting the adjective “slutty” in front of civic profession is not an acceptable Halloween costume. Recho O. (SCAD Atlanta student, 23 from Champaign, Illinois) channels the Godfather of Fashion to a “T” (in this case- a perfectly pressed Chanel tee, naturally). Only thing missing is a beautiful entourage, a bottle of Dom, and a slew of hungry paparazzo. Your originality isn’t going unnoticed, Ms. Lagerfeld.
“What I hate most in life are people who are not really the peach of the day but who want to be young and sexy. You can fool nobody. There is a moment when you have to accept that somebody else is younger and fresher and hotter. Life is not a beauty contest.” -Mr. Lagerfeld
