Sure, the flat bill hat is a common accessory for the men of our age–and what makes them all similar is that, in their own way, each hat is stamped with some sort of symbol you immediately recognize. Be it the Atlanta Braves or the New York Yankees, that singular symbol attaches a lot to a person: with whom they affiliate, whom they respect, whom they want to represent on a daily basis.

Instead of sports teams, SEA has crafted a hat unique of the typical flat bill that represents real causes–ones that probably affect you personally. This past summer, SEA embarked on a new mission. Outside of their usual hats, SEA teamed up with Brotips to find a cause that the public wanted to raise awareness about, support and ultimately, prevent. After thousands of votes, our bros chose Teenage Suicide as the cause they wanted to rep–and get rid of.

From there, our bros took it to the next level by choosing the specific charity in which these hats would represent and donate proceeds towards. And the winner? The International Association for Suicide Prevention, which aims at “preventing suicidal behavior, alleviating its effects, and providing a forum for academics, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors.” Sounds like a nice pick to us boys.

The final step in Bros For a Cause was the easy part–picking the colors for the hat. From three color combos, our gentlemen ended up with a “snapback that gives back” in the hues of blue on black. Now when you see a hat with these colors, you know that snazzy bro may look good, but he is doing good as well.

Head on over to the SEA page, fan those good-doers and receive a special $5 discount when you use this special code at checkout: Brotips. To purchase this hat and lots of fuzzy feelings (not to mention serious karma), head here.
