Whenever I feel like my outfit is a little on the Plain Jane side, I know the easiest way to amp up my look: throw on a really outlandish piece of jewelry.  The next thing you know, my outfit has gone from blah to bold!

A bold piece of jewelry or–if you’re brave enough–several vibrant pieces can really perk up any outfit.  I can’t count how many conversations with strangers have sparked over one of my crazy insect rings or gigantic gold coil necklace.  Hence the phrase, “Conversation Piece!”

I found several jewelry-gutsy girls on campus and snapped shots of their take on statement accessories.  They all had the similar ideas–that one killer power piece can transform any outfit.  Great minds do think alike after all!
